Lexi's 2 year Checkup

Weight:  24 lbs 8 ozs    25%
Height:  34 1/2 inches    75%
Head:  47 1/2 cm   50%

Where do I even begin with this little girl.  Everyday she does something new so lets see if I can remember everything.

- Loves playing on the slide.  Every time we drive by a playground I hear "Slide, slide" coming from the back seat.  I feel bad cause its still so cold and I cant take her that often.
- Just recently she has started singing.  She has a good memory.  It surprises us.
-She loves cooking with me.
-She talks soooo much.  It amazes me the words she says and all she knows.
-As far as sleeping in the night goes, she often winds up in our bed but we are trying to work on that.
-She loves her little sister Taylor and loves playing with her but sometimes is too rough still.  Sometimes I will catch her dragging Taylor across the floor by her arm saying, "Come on Tay, Tay."
-Lexi loves watching TV.  She gets that from her Mom.  Her favorite shows are Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Dora, and Max & Ruby.
-She loves watching movies also.  Her favorites are Finding Nemo, Wilbur (Charlotte's Web), Cars, and Spirit.
-She has a great little imagination and will play by her self for hours.
-Lexi beyond loves milk.  If I let her she would drink milk every second of the day.  This will make potty training very difficult.  So I am working on not giving her so much to drink.
-She has started to become a better eater.  She loves eggs, cream of wheat, spaghetti, pizza, green beans, peas, and applesauce.
-She has a favorite stuffed animal which is a wind up musical giraffe.  She has to sleep with it every night along with her blanket.
-She has almost every Disney character stuffed animal and loves playing with them.
-Her favorite toys are her play kitchen, a rocking horse named Sassy, her baby stroller, and books.  She loves to read and be read to.
-She loves coloring and playing with Playdoh.
-Lexi loves to dance but usually makes you hold her and dance.
-Her favorite snacks are pretzels, marshmallows, goldfish, and Taylor's puffs.
-If I say she likes to jump thats an understatement.  She jumps all over the house and always says trampoline.
-She has just recently started making faces to the correct emotion.  You can say sad and she will make a sad face and so on.
-She loves Minnie Mouse.  In May we are taking her to Disney and she is gonna love it!!
-She takes after her Daddy in that she loves cleaning.  She always has her broom out and I can sometimes catch her with a cloth rubbing something down.
-She loves helping me and her favorite thing to do is unload the dishwasher.  She hands me every thing out of the dishwasher.
-She is addicted to looking at pictures on our iPhone and knows how to operate it.
-She can open doors and will walk around the house just opening and closing doors.  She says Bye, Bye mommy and shuts the door.
-She is still iffy in the nursery at church.  She was doing great until she moved up to the older nursery and now we have to start all over again.
-She is great with babysitters.  When we leave she says bye and never looks back.
-She will often wake Taylor up from her naps by opening the door and running in and saying "Tay, Tay play!"
-She always lets me know if Taylor's sad by saying "tay, tay sad."

Ok I think thats enough.  I cant think of anything else.  We just love our little Lexi.  She is so much fun!

Taylor's 9 month Checkup

Weight: 16 lbs 3 oz    10%
Height: 27 3/4 inches     75%
Head:  42 cm    10%

I cant believe Taylor is 9 months old.  Where does the time go.  Taylor is just a tad bit taller than Lexi was and only 3 ozs bigger.  Taylor is crawling everywhere and pulling up on everything.  She is starting to eat our food now and loves scrambled eggs.  She still has no teeth so we grind everything up in our magic bullet.  She has started to wake up a few times during the night but I just go in and lay her down and give the binky to her.  Hopefully it is just teething and she will stop this soon.  Im getting tired.  :)  She is a fabulous napper though which allows me to do some things I want to do.

Taylor loves her big sister Lexi and wants to do and have everything that Lexi has which Lexi likes and doesnt like.  For the most part they get along great.  She still doesnt drink from her sippy cup great she prefers to just chew on it.  I cant wait for Spring so that she can get outside and explore what grass is and playing with Lexi on the swings.

Taylor is such a sweetie and loves when her Dad comes home.  She always has the biggest smile on her face.  One thing Taylor loves is the bath.  She is always bouncing in the water and going from one side to the other. She has really gotten good at entertaining herself which is great for me.

Thats all I can think off right now.

Big sister at Taylor's appointment.
